Groundhog Day -- Not a Korean Holiday

So for Groundhog Day we like to make cupcakes and follow Punxatawney Phil to see if he saw his shadow. It's a silly holiday, but hey, it's a great excuse for sugar and some much needed excitement in February.  Right?

So every year we like to share our cupcakes with our neighbors.  This year we thought we'd make some for our Korean-American neighbors down a few floors from us.  Well, apparently they don't celebrate Groundhog Day.  And while they were grateful for the cupcakes, I think they may think we're a little strange now!  I do have to admit, our poor groundhogs were very sad this year.  I couldn't find all the things we usually use to decorate them, so maybe they just couldn't tell they were groundhogs.  :)  Anyway, note to self, Korea does not celebrate Groundhog Day.
